Moro proud partner of the 2019 Spanish Film Festival

Moro announces naming rights partnership for the 22nd Spanish Film Festival across Australia.

A celebration of Spanish cinema, the 2019 Moro Spanish Film Festival features 32 films from Spain and Latin America including critically-acclaimed films that smashed box office records in Spain, special presentations and events, innovative documentaries and a spotlight on female directors.

“We are pleased to lend our support as the naming rights partner for the Spanish Film Festival” says Kristen Moxey, Innovation and Marketing Manager for Moro.

“In line with our commitment to promoting authentic, quality olive oil and olive oil education, we have also taken the opportunity to run appreciation sessions during the Festival” Moxey continues.

Of the two documentaries screening during the Festival, VIRGIN AND EXTRA: JAEN, THE LAND OF THE OLIVE OIL, is a film revelling in the hidden beauty of one of Spain’s lesser-known provinces with a delectable tale about olive oil from Goya-award-winning director José Luis López-Linares. Moro Olive Oil tasting and appreciation sessions will be held for those attending selected special screenings of this film in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

“Moro has a long and proud history as a quality, Spanish olive oil” says Moxey. “Established in 1845, and produced with a passion that comes from a love of the craft through family generations, today Moro is Australia’s favourite olive oil with the authentic taste of that tradition.”
