Grapeseed Oil


Grapeseed oil is pressed from the seeds of grapes and is used as an alternative to vegetable oil as it has a moderately high smoke point of approximately 216 °C . Grapeseed oil is high in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), mostly omega-6 fatty acids. Due to its clean, light taste, and high polyunsaturated fat content, it is used in salad dressings, as a base for oil infusions of garlic, rosemary, or other herbs or spices and baked goods.
