Moro Single Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil Lot No. 6

Lot No.6 comes from Muela Estate, nestled in the heart of Priego de Cordoba, Spain. It was over 70 years ago that Don Mateo Muela Velasco founded the company with a view to preserving the tradition and craftsmanship required to produce high quality olive oils. The Muela family has made olive oil a way of life, and the climate and rich soil of their grove allow them to produce some of the world’s most highly awarded olive oil. This olive oil is made from the rare variety of Picuda olives, grown at the foot of the highest mountain in Cordoba. It is ideal for the olive oil lover in search of a ‘kick’ due to its big flavours. This robust EVOO has a delicious, complex, fruity and slightly spicy flavour with notes of fresh herbs and fruit such as apples and bananas. It can be described as peppery, ripe and fullbodied. Suited for any salad, grilling vegetables, cooking with savoury stews, red meats or flavouring soups.
