Classic Pesto

Ingredients

  • 1 Bunch fresh basil leaves
  • 30g Toasted pine nuts
  • 2 Cloves garlic, crushed
  • ½ cup Moro Frutal Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Moro Primero Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 60g Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Extra olive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Combine basil, pine nuts and garlic in a blender or mortar and pestle and blend to a paste.

    Mix in Moro Frutal Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Parmesan and season to taste.

  3. 03

    Spoon into a sterilised jar and top with a thin layer of oil. Store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
